DuoDay

Terms of Use

Effective July 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of DuoDay, the mobile app and the services behind it. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use DuoDay.

1. The service

DuoDay is a shared day planner for two adults in one household: meals, a market list, activities, and — if you turn it on — a family layer for coordinating care of your kids. The product is the shared household; the app only works paired.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. DuoDay is designed for the adults running a household together. Sign-in is by one-time codes sent to your email address; keep access to that mailbox secure, since it is your key to the account. One household per account.

3. The household is shared

Everything you put into DuoDay — meals, list items, activities, kid profiles, notes — is visible to and editable by both adults in the household. That's the point of the product. Don't put anything into DuoDay you don't want your household partner to see, and don't pair with someone you don't trust with that information.

4. Your content

Your content stays yours. You give us only the license needed to store it, sync it between your devices, and show it to your household — nothing more. We don't use it for advertising, training, or anything else. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

5. Family mode

Child profiles are created and controlled by the adults in the household. You're responsible for the information you enter about your children and for having the right to enter it. Children referenced in family mode do not sign in and have no accounts.

6. Subscriptions

DuoDay is offered as a paid subscription per household — one subscription covers both adults. The current price is always shown before you buy. Billing, renewal, and cancellation run through the app store you bought it from (Apple App Store or Google Play), under that store's terms; cancel any time from your store subscription settings. Refunds follow the store's refund policy.

7. Acceptable use

We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

8. Ending things

You can delete your account any time from inside the app (Settings → Delete account) — see the privacy policy for exactly what gets deleted and what stays with a remaining partner. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice; if we do, you'll have the chance to see your data out.

9. No warranty

DuoDay is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that synced data will never be delayed. DuoDay is a planning tool — it is not a source of truth for anything safety-critical.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DuoDay. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

If these terms change materially, we'll show the updated version in the app and on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use DuoDay after a change means you accept it.
